Just had a 1hr 58min talk with a v good friend of mine. We had a very heated conversation… nothing against each other but a guy that we find CMI (cannot make it)
Introducing the characters involved:
The CMI guy is the friend of A (a v sweet young mother)
A intro CMI to P (cousin of A)
P intro CMI to the Victim
Summary of events:
CMI likes Victim. Victim’s dog passed away and is sad. CMI decides to buy a dog for Victim and CMI asks P to accompany him to buy a dog for Victim. After buying the dog that costs S$2k, CMI and P went to Victim’s home to surprise her with the dog.
Victim says she can’t accept this expensive gift but CMI assures her that its ok with him and that Victim just need to concentrate on taking care of the dog and pay for the dog’s subsequent expenses. Victim is at the beginning elated and told CMI & P that they could visit the dog and maybe bring the dog out together once in a while.
Somehow, there were some changes of events in Victim’s life after the arrival of the dog.
1) She started a new and very demanding job
2) Her grandma fell sick
3) Her mum fell sick taking care of the dog
4) The dog fell sick
All these put great pressure on Victim.
At the same time, CMI kept asking to see the dog every weekend even when Victim has expressed that she is not free. One day, Victim couldn’t take his persistent demand and stopped picking up his call. CMI then turned to P for help until P couldn’t take it anymore and stopped picking up his call. CMI then turned to A for help and A (with a newborn) couldn’t take it anymore and refuse to entertain him. CMI did not give up... he persevered and bombarded A, P and Victim with smses and calls. Until P couldn’t take it anymore and ask him what he actually wants. P asked for CMI to be more considerate and be understanding enoughto leave Victim alone for awhile to sort out her own problems. CMI then said something like, “then how? No more friend? The dog how? Return to me?”
I feel that:
1) The dog is a gift and he wants to take back a gift?
2) The dog has feelings. Victim has feelings. And they have had feelings for each other now and this CMI guy wants to take the dog back?
3) CMI is acting like a parasite, an immature man of 25. There are some background incidents that I have not mentioned and it thoroughly puts me off.
4) CMI childish acts have affected the lives of ppl around him and Victim.
Conclusion: He’s a spoilt brat that need’s a kick in the ass, a scolding to wake him to his senses, and it’s no wonder he's not with many friends.

altho the story seems quite complicated, I GET IT!!! i reali get the whole story. omg. this CMI reali cannot make it big time. he claims it's okie for Victim to accept the expensive gift, bein the dog, and now he wans it back?! wad an idiot! juz gif Victim a break la. y is he so persistent in visitin her and the dog? haiyo. reali weird character. do u know CMI personally too, moon?
i dun know him personally but i've seen him with my friend before.. he sucks!! and i think the dog is just an excuse to get close to Victim.. and now that he knows that Victim's neva gonna fall for him, he wants his money back ... wait.. hey!!.. when he give the dog to Victim, i wonder if he made her sign an agreement that includes ,"money back guarantee" as one of the clauses...

Yah agree with appy... he not only cannot make it BIG time, i think he's a BIG cheapo guy too(e stories behind the scene)... i think i'm gonna hide if i see him on e streets... =P
Wow...i know who u are talkin abt..haha...interesting...but tt CMI really..sigh...he is really desperate or wat??
