New Crown fitted
Went to the dentist just now to get my "princess" tooth fitted. My crowned tooth is nice, shiny and smooth... look at the photo taken at the dental clinic....
Whahahha.. they gave me the mould of my whole set of teeth plus, the mould they used to make my crowned tooth.. quite interesting ya??
The mould for my crowned tooth is detachable.. kekke.. the tooth circled in RED is my trimmed tooth for the crown to fit nicely.
The one in BLUE is the temporary crown that accompanied me for the past week.. not nice one... feels powdery.. the new one is smooth and silky.... Hahhaa.. dun have porcelain skin at least i have a procelain tooth :)
BAD NEWS
Cyst in my gums
For those that know me and is more observant, i have a crooked front tooth. I got this tooth crooked when i was in Pri 3 during PE lesson. We were instructed to dribble a ball across and back. Clumsy me dunno why accidentally stood on the ball (yes.. like a clown in circus balancing on a ball) and fall FLAT on my face. Part of the tooth was knocked out and the whole tooth became crooked since then...
Recently (one week ago) this tooth started hurting and became shaky... and it feels like it had lowered itself and was misaligned with the other front tooth. The dentist suggested an x-ray...
Results of the x-ray (here comes the bad news) :
I have a CYST growing in my gums just above the crooked tooth. The cyst had eaten away the bone around the area. The cyst is as big as my font tooth and is just below my nose. Now, even more bad news. I have to:
- Remove the cyst (i dunno how much. need to go for consultation. If need to operate then more ex)
- Do a root canal (approx $500)
- Fix in a screw ($150)
- Do a crowning (approx $500)
I have a very expensive mouth.... Who wanna kiss me??
