Mentor Outing - Mac Ritchie Sept 16, 2006

Went Mac Ritchie for the tree top trail... we took the shorter 4km route but nevertheless, it was tiring !!! Some stretches of the trail were rocky and bumpy... and i felt that my feet were becoming "blisterised" as i walk...

Got to know some of the new A10s..

But, the good thing is that the weather was fine.. the sun was up but not blazing... and there were gentle breezes under the tight canopy of the forest... if i would have been with some good friends, i would definitely have enjoyed the walk more...

We commenced the walk at around 1030 and completed the trail around 1230...
Thereafter, we went to a peranakan restaurant near upp thomson road for lunch

Wah.. its the first time i had peranakan food and it was surprisingly yummy !! not sure if the food is reallie yummy, or that i'm just super famished after the walk...

We had nine dishes with rice, and per pax is around $15 only...!! so cheap cheap....

We had ngo hiang, honey pork, curry fish head, brinjal, satay chicken, curry mutton, chilli prawn, stir fried cabbage, cabbage soup.... completed with a dessert..!!

Mum will like this.. will bring her there one of these days.....
